On the way up we hiked on top to the snow field. Rick decided to hike underneath the snow on the way down. There was a cavern all the way through the snow/ice. At the top the ice was about 10 feet thick.
Once the hike to Goat Lake gets more vertical, several falls are seen along the route. The first image is the lowest falls. Once at this falls, you must retrace the route making for the ridge line to your left as you hike away from the falls to reach the lake.
